The daffodils are up………..aaarrrggghhhh!!

Up, up and away!

It’s a funny thing this talk about temperatures increasing by 1-3 degrees over the next several decades. It implies that the arguable effects of climate change or warming in this case are some time away. They’re not, they’re here and there ain’t a lot we can do about it either!

Global chaos theory is sprouting before our very eyes. Let’s hope the birds and the bees have an ‘action plan’ of their own.

Funnily enough a blackbird gave me his answer this morning. Here it was in the warm winter darkness of 6am singing out to its heart’s content (or is that confusion). It was a sound that confused ME at first. I wasn’t expecting it! I don’t think the other blackbirds were either…..for there was no reply. And the blackbird continued to sing with all its might…….all alone, in the dark winter morning.

    There is no ‘action plan’.

Hmm…nature does seem to have an uncanny ability to adapt and survive.

Prof. Bjorn Lomborg believes we should try to adapt to climate change rather than fight against it. I’m not quite sure we have the time to grow fins and gills in order to *adapt* to the rising sea levels.

Me thinks I’ll purchase a narrowboat and call it ‘Noah’. 🙂
