National Energy Efficiency Awards

BSkyB was perhaps the surprise winner at the inaugural National Energy Efficiency Awards this year. Highly commended in the Education & Awareness category came Islington Borough Council’s Green Liaison Officer scheme of which I was a part. Unfortunately despite my best endeavours energy use in the Central Library went up during the campaign. Fortunately others had better results and together the campaign made an energy saving of 47,771 kWh. See Council honoured for energy efficiency

GLOs sound like a good idea. We need an army of them marching across the land ….. like a swarm of bees hunting out serial energy wasters. šŸ˜‰
