Five years, that’s all we’ve got; or so the NGOs would have you believe.

A number of NGOs and loosely affiliated organisations with environmental causes, together with various doomsday theorists spouting concepts like ‘peak oil’ would have you believe human civilization only has a few years til total collapse.

Shouldn’t these people being taking a cold shower? Try smiling. Think positive. Get positive. Make changes. Get involved. Blow up parliament on November 5th! Above all, leave your doomsday theories inside your doomsday head. Period. 🙂

You’re at it again Matt 🙂
I know what you mean, but there’s a fine line between being smilingly positive and sticking your head in the sand.

  2. We’re running an unbranded video campaign, highlighting the adverse effects of climate change on British wildlife, and would be interested in buying some advertising or advertorial space on your blog. Sorry- couldn’t see where to get in touch.

Many organizations and personalities just can not survive and remain alive unless they orchestrate and blow up some “world saviour” stuff! This world may be survived and saved but never by these bunches of false people.

Ooooooh so that’s why Bowie went into space.

So do you think I should put away my Repent – The End is Nigh sandwich board then?

I agree Matt. There’s still plenty we can do. I quite often come across people who shrug off global warming because it’s “already too late so what’s the point“. Just a lazy cop-out – a false justification for continuing their anti-eco-lifestyles.

Ah yes, there are those people too. They’re the first ones to use the excuse to do nothing because of all the doom and gloom eco-fanatics ‘out there’. If we smother them with positive solutions, backed up by government laws/taxes those ‘do nothing’ people will be dealt with.

Didn’t you hear, he ran out of loo roll and dropped back to earth in a hurry, only to end up in big bad New York. He muttered something about ‘zero tolerance’ and the rest is history. 🙂
